What makes this tour unique?

Guided walking tour : see the major sights of the old city. Venture past the Belfree, Town Hall, Old Port with its guildhouses, Caste of the Counts of Flanders …

Chocolate : we will visit a Chocolate Factory, including 3 Chocolate Tastings. We will taste a mix of white and dark chocolate. Belgium has always been one the source for innovative chocolate makers.

Stadsbrewery : guided visit with 2 beer tastings. See how the beers are brewed. Ghent is unique in Belgium, because the brewers use Gruut instead of Hops. That makes the beers very fruity and less bitter.

Geneva Gin : Jenever is a juniper flavoured liquor from which gin envolved. Today it’s only made in the Netherlands and Belgium. In Ghent the place to go is ‘tDreupelkot. The drink is served in a tall shot glasses.

Beer Tasting : for the last two beers, we pay a visit at one of the oldest taverns. The beers are usually very strong a full of flavour. All this combined with a local snacks like the Ganda smooked ham, cheeses and other specialties.
